LAFAYETTE CITY-PARISH FILM ASSISTANCE
In an effort to encourage economic development and quality jobs in the City and Parish of Lafayette, Mayor-President Joel Robideaux’s CREATE Initiative has partnered with other local agencies to inspire the Entertainment Industry to produce content in Lafayette and the surrounding areas.

The CREATE Initiative will celebrate, support and grow the Lafayette Parish creative community and enhance its potential as a lead economic driver with a strategic focus on Culture, Recreation, Entertainment, Arts, Tourism and Economy.

The administration is tracking the success based on the economic impact from film in Lafayette Parish, such as the Small Film Economic Impact Analysis (July 2018).
